Brighton-based artist Jennifer Oliver (b.1989) graduated from Manchester School of Art in 2011. Her work is often an emotive response to an autobiographical experience or memory that seeks internal resolve. Oliver's work is characterised by the use of vivid colour and intuitive mark-making, often using found objects, mixed media and collage to build unexpected and spontaneous narratives.
